Nothing beats a great night’s sleep, except<\/strong> maybe<\/em> a great night’s sleep (of 10 HOURS) after a hard bike……definitely the ticket!\u00a0 Though it was not raining as predicted, it was really cold and the wind was howling, great start to a deserved day off!<\/p>\n

The town of Breisach is enchanting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Every other block, there is a small courtyard of innovative restaurants,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>lovely people (especially the little ones)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>nice shops, flowers,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>fruit and vegetable stands<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>and beer!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Straight UP the hill from town<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>is a castle<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

dating back to Roman times.<\/p>\n

The architecture is stunning<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>and the views from these height are all encompassing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Note the other half of the castle over the rooftops.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Also, in the same courtyard is their town hall.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The wind chased us into a restaurant just about lunch time (imagine that).<\/p>\n
