We were still socked in this morning, \"DSCN0079\"<\/a>the wind\u00a0making the 55\u00b0 temperatures feel more like freezing<\/em>. \u00a0However, with the fog came the wind at our backs, as we turned around and headed back in the same direction we had come yesterday. \u00a0\"DSCN0080\"<\/a>With the fog, we saw about the same amount (and things) as we did yesterday, \"DSCN0083\"<\/a>but we enjoyed\u00a0not having to push as hard to see it. \u00a0As we traveled further west and the sun started burning away some of the fog, the fields\u00a0\"DSCN0096\"<\/a>and picturesque coves (with their Caribbean blue waters)\u00a0brightened with color.\"DSCN0101\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our discussions and<\/em> free time the last few days have been spent trying to figure out how to bike the west coast AND stay in accommodations every night. \u00a0A little readjust and we came up with a new plan; take a train south.\"photo\"<\/a> \u00a0After our 21 mile trek back to Thurso, we boarded a train to Inverness,\u00a0where we will continue our journey to the west coast of Scotland. \u00a0We are hoping the room situation improves, but we are close to raising the white flag. \u00a0The situation improved in Inverness, where the hotel reception and bar are the same. \u00a0\"DSCN0109\"<\/a>We may make it after all.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
