{"id":3117,"date":"2011-07-15T16:26:35","date_gmt":"2011-07-15T14:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2011-10-22T23:23:32","modified_gmt":"2011-10-22T21:23:32","slug":"day-56-thursday-july-14-zwolle-to-amersfoort-netherlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/?p=3117","title":{"rendered":"Day 56, Thursday, July 14 &#8211; Zwolle to Amersfoort, Netherlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Two words, one picture!<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017074.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3117]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3122\" title=\"Exif_JPEG_PICTURE\" src=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017074-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017074-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017074.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>WIND<\/em> <strong>Rain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The 30 mph wind from yesterday was still with us this morning. \u00a0Though no rain at the start, we were prepared, as the forecast was for nothing else.\u00a0 Either the wind had turned ever so slightly, or our course, either way we had the direct force of the strong head wind our entire 56 miles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The silver lining is the rain was not constant, actually by noon, the  wind was blowing so hard <em>in our face<\/em> that we were totally dry.\u00a0 As much as we wanted to stop, we could see the dark clouds and threatening rain, so we once again ate lunch as we biked.\u00a0 Much like yesterday, it was still a very pretty ride,&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.managed one photo before having to wrap the camera up again.<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017075.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3117]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3124\" title=\"Exif_JPEG_PICTURE\" src=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017075-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017075-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/M0017075.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>As much as we enjoyed the scenery while fighting the wind, we can only imagine how fabulous it would be with a little bit of sunshine and a little less wind.\u00a0 Shortly before finding a hotel, the rain came down sideways, drenching us to the core, not a pretty site when checking in.\u00a0 This is all we can offer you for today, hopefully&#8230;&#8230;&#8221;the sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there&#8217;ll be sun&#8230;.!&#8221;\u00a0 <em>Did you sing?<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two words, one picture!
