300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> We were looking forward to the NNW wind change, that we were able to enjoy for about a half mile.<a 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> For five miles we biked directly into the wind, reminding us who was boss. \u00a0In the half hour it took us to reach the interstate, the clouds had poured in<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2454.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9873]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9951\" title=\"DSCN2454\" src=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2454-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2454-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2454.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> and we hoped they were not arriving early for the predicted afternoon storm. \u00a0We had a 13 mile stretch along the interstate;<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2468.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9873]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9958\" title=\"DSCN2468\" src=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2468-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> not really much of a &#8220;rush hour&#8221; in this part of the country. \u00a0We rolled along with the traffic,enjoying the surroundings.<a 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The strange &#8220;bumps&#8221; of the North Dakota land reappeared<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/DSCN2460.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9873]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9953\" title=\"DSCN2460\" 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>through the countryside; even with the &#8216;off the shoulder&#8217; push, we still worked for every numerous hill we climbed.<a 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Ten miles before town our course became completely flat. \u00a0Crossing the Missouri River<a href=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo23.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[9873]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-9983\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo23-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tourdebocrie.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/photo23.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> for the second time on this trip, our course provided a bike path into the Capital City. \u00a0Strange to bike into the capital of the state and find a small town, but then the entire state of North Dakota has a smaller population than Virginia Beach. \u00a0Beautiful ride today, not without work for our 57 miles, but so comfortable. \u00a0It was 73\u00b0 when we
