Day 51. Saturday, August 10 – Day Off in Ludington, Michigan

Sunday 11 August 2013

Day off today and with no internet and eight miles from town, that is exactly what we did and exactly what we needed. Plus the calm effect of sand and sea (ok lake, but you can’t see the other side, so same effect).  We do have a couple of the pictures of the darling townand Victorian homes from our ride in last night. We did take a nice stroll past a tiki bar and then to the marina, watching the salmon head boats returning from a successful day of fishing.

Oh, and we did find a masseuse that came to us.  A great day of relaxing…..we will see you tomorrow.

Sounds like the ferry ride offered a much needed rest for weary legs. Or did you ride around in circles on the deck?

Really nice pictures …a real scenery change. Relax and enjoy.

My compadre has a summer place there for boating

Love the tiki bar — we have one here in VA Beach for you to see at the Geusic’s – just built by Steve-o himself. 🙂
